I grew up in a small town in New England many years ago. Now I live in San Francisco where I can see ocean between the trees. My career as the long-term CEO of a social justice and healthcare non-profit, transitioned to poetry in 2017.  I walk around the city adding to my map of the best vacant lots and corners of parks to pick blackberries. Writing helps me contemplate the nature of fog, ravens and gardens. Poetry encourages me to laugh, reflect, and take action. My debut book of poetry, INNER SUNSET, was published in May, 2019 by Blue Light Press, and my second book, CLOUDBREAK, was published in  June, 2021 by Poetic Matrix Press . You can find my poems in journals and anthologies as well.  I reside with my teacher/writer husband of 47 years. Happily, our daughter lives nearby.
